My name is Rob Nelson, also known as “N3X15”. I live in Newcastle, WA (close to Seattle and Bellevue) in the United States. I do magic with computer systems. If it runs, I can make it run better. If it doesn’t run and is still in one piece, I can make it work.
Translated to job titles, my past roles have included devops, software development, network engineering, technical support, systems analysis and design, and more. I have worked on Windows, Linux, Mac, FreeBSD, and Android, for small businesses up to metropolitan deployments. I have even worked for Squad, makers of Kerbal Space Program, helping them develop a streamlined deployment system via Jenkins, plus managing their network and helping them adjust it for a highly active community.
In my downtime, I contribute to the open-source community and have a multitude of projects in progress.
So, what can I do for you? Contact me at my e-mail address (serious inquiries only, please). You can also download a copy of my resume via the links above. Please note that I just bought a home with a mortgage, and therefore cannot relocate. I can, however, commute to Seattle, Bellevue, Renton, and possibly Redmond, and own a personal vehicle.
